How to Subscribe to Daily Moonbeams via Google Groups

Welcome to Craft of Moon! If you’d like to receive Daily Moonbeams delivered directly to your inbox, here’s a simple step-by-step guide to subscribe to our Google Group. You can choose the frequency of delivery (daily, weekly, or online-only). This guide will walk you through the process whether you have a Google account or not.

How to Subscribe

1. If you have a Google Account (Gmail or Non-Gmail)

  • Step 1: Visit the Moonbeams Google Group page.
  • Step 2: Click the Join button.
  • Step 3: Set your preferences for receiving Daily Moonbeams:
    • You can opt to receive them daily, weekly, or view them online-only.
  • Step 4: That’s it! You will now start receiving Daily Moonbeams based on your chosen frequency.

2. If you don’t have a Google Account

  • Step 1: Send an email to the following address:
    moonbeams+subscribe@craftofmoon.com
  • Step 2: You will receive a confirmation email within a few minutes (sometimes it may take up to 20 minutes).
  • Step 3: Check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see the email in your inbox.
  • Step 4: If you don’t have a Google account, do not click the “Join” button in the confirmation email. Instead:
    • Reply to the email without changing the subject or adding any text to the body of the message.
    • Hit Send.
  • Step 5: Once your reply is processed, you’ll receive a final confirmation that you’ve been subscribed to the Daily Moonbeams!

3. For Microsoft-Hosted Email Accounts (e.g., @outlook.com, @hotmail.com)

  • Some users with email accounts hosted by Microsoft may receive an error message (such as a “DFS problem”) when trying to subscribe.
  • Solution 1: Try subscribing with a different email address (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo).
  • Solution 2: Alternatively, you can reach out to me directly, and I’ll add you to the list manually.

Troubleshooting

  • Didn’t receive the confirmation email?
    Be sure to check your spam/junk folder. Emails from the group server may be filtered there by default.

  • Encountered an error?
    If you receive an error when trying to join, especially with Microsoft-hosted accounts, try using another email address or contact us for assistance.
